Return & Exchange

  1. Returns Policy
    ONLY items found to be DEFECTIVE are eligible for return. The item qualifies as defective if it has visible stains, broken straps or buckles, a loose/unhinged heel, or an improperly glued sole.

    Slight variations in the color and texture of the suede and leather are due to the nature of the material and are not counted as defects.

    CHANGE OF MIND: We reserve the right to refuse product exchange on the grounds of the customer deciding they no longer want the item. #PracticeMindfulConsumerism.

    SALE ITEMS: All sale items are final and do not qualify for a refund.

    INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: International buyers must send us an e-mail within SEVEN (7) business days after receiving the damaged item.

    See the section below (DAMAGES) to process your refund for a defective item.

    Any customs charges/taxes and duties are NON-REFUNDABLE. We will only be refunding you for the original total amount paid (cost of item + shipping cost calculated on our website).

  2. Exchange Policy
    SIZE EXCHANGE: We allow size exchange subject to availability. Buyer is required to shoulder the shipping cost of returning the old size to us. We will shoulder the cost of shipping the new size. Shoes must be returned in their original condition. Soles with any sign of outside wear will not be accepted for exchange.

    To process size exchange:

    Send us an e-mail (hello@coraandbear.com) with your order ID and the new size you want. If you are unsure which size to get, feel free to send us photos of you wearing the shoes so we can help you decide.

    We will review your request and upon approval, we will send you our return address.

    We will only ship out the new size AFTER we receive the old size to verify that it is in good condition.

    COLOR EXCHANGE: We allow color exchange subject to availability. Buyer is required to shoulder the shipping cost of returning the old color to us, as well as the cost of shipping for the new color. Shoes must be returned in their original condition. Soles with any sign of outside wear will not be accepted for exchange. 

    To process color exchange:

    Send us an e-mail (hello@coraandbear.com) with your order ID and the new color you want. 

    We will review your request, and upon approval, we will send you our return address as well as our payment details for the cost of the extra shipping. 

    We will only ship out the new color AFTER we receive the old color to verify that it is in good condition and AFTER we have received the payment for the cost of extra shipping.

    We will send you an e-mail as soon as the new color is on its way to you.

    CHANGE OF MIND: We reserve the right to refuse product exchange on the grounds of the customer deciding they no longer want the item. #PracticeMindfulConsumerism.

    SALE ITEMS: We will allow size exchange for promotional items for the wrong size only (subject to availability). In this case, the buyer is required to shoulder the cost of shipping for the new size. For the exchange process, see instructions above. We will NOT be entertaining requests for change of color for promotional items.

    OOPS, OUR MISTAKE: In case we accidentally ship you the wrong item (size, color, or style), kindly send us an e-mail (hello@coraandbear.com) or message us on Instagram. Send us your order ID & photos of the wrong product you received. Once we verify that we sent you the wrong item, we will ship out the correct one as soon as possible.

    We request that you do return the wrong item we sent. We will be sending you the return address and will be compensating you through bank deposit for the cost of shipping back the wrong item.

    If the item you originally ordered is unavailable/OOS, we will inform you of the restock date should you choose to wait for it. In case we will not be restocking, we will be providing you with a full refund. 

    INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: Due to the high costs associated with international shipping, we will not be accepting requests for color or size exchange from international buyers at this time. Only items with proven defects will be eligible for a refund.

  3. Damages

    Due to the handmade nature of our products, defective items are rare but possible. If you receive a damaged product, please e-mail us at hello@coraandbear.com within 48 HOURS of receiving your order.

    Send us your order ID and high-resolution photos of the damaged item. 

    We will review your claim and upon approval, we will either exchange the item (subject to stock availability) or provide you with a full refund.

    To continuously improve the quality of our products, we request that you return the defective items to us. We will be providing you with a return address and will be compensating you through bank deposit for the cost of returning the defective item. 

    What does NOT QUALIFY as DAMAGED are items that are:

    worn down due to natural wear and tear

    damaged due to the buyer's negligence or misuse (so if your pet dog ruins your shoes, we aren’t liable for that)

    improperly broken in (all shoes, no matter the style, need to be broken in when worn for the first time. In order to avoid pain and blisters, follow our instructions in the BREAKING IN section on how to properly break in your shoes)

    damaged by natural disasters (flood, fire, earthquakes)

    purchased through UNAUTHORIZED resellers or secondhand items (our only reseller is Seek the Uniq; shoes purchased through Shoppee, Carousell, Facebook Marketplace, etc, are ineligible).

    NOTE: All of our items are handmade, so there may be a slight discrepancy between what is shown in photos and the actual product.

  4. Processing Time
    Kindly allow us 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS after approving your claim to process your refund/exchange. You will be notified as soon as the refund/exchange has been fulfilled.
